Shrimp, Pasta and Spinach Salad

This satisfying salad can be made with chicken as well. The whole wheat pasta provides some of the fiber needed in the diverticulosis phase.

Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain.
While pasta is cooking, in a large bowl, combine shrimp, spinach, tomatoes, salad dressing and cooked pasta.
Refrigerate for 20 minutes. Toss together with basil and cheese. Serve.
