Serves 2

This is a super easy one pot meal loaded with lots of fiber and just a few ingredients.


  • 2 Cups
    broccoli florets, fresh or thawed if frozen
  • 1/2 p Pound
    whole wheat pasta
  • 1/2 Tablespoon
    olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon
    Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 Teaspoon
    garlic powder


  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

  2. Add broccoli and pasta and cook for about 6 - 8 minutes or until tender. Drain well.

  3. Place pasta mixture in a large shallow pasta bowl and toss with olive oil, cheese and garlic powder. Serve.

    This was delicious. After receiving my diagnosis of diverticulosis this week I’ve been scouring the net for help and advice. These recipes look delicious so I decided to try it. It took 15 minutes to make and tasted great, I added diced chicken breast to it also and used garlic infused oil which is low fodmap. My mum enjoyed it to ! I ll be trying out a few more recipes this week, along with the calming tea blend.
