Baked Sweet Potato Fries

These yummy fries are a much healthier alternative to traditional fries since they still have the peel on that provides fiber.


Ingredients

  • 4
    small sweet potatoes, unpeeled
  • 1 Tablespoon
    butter, melted
  • 1/4 Teaspoon
    salt
  • 1
    dash of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450F degrees. Spray a large baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Scrub potatoes and cut lengthwise into quarters, then cut each quarter into 2 wedges. Arrange potatoes in a single layer in pan. In a small bowl, combine butter, salt, and nutmeg.

  3. Brush mixture onto potatoes and coat evenly. Bake in oven 20 minutes or until brown and tender.
